Should I wait for my insurance adjuster before starting repairs?
The Massachusetts Division of Insurance advises taking steps to prevent further damage, such as covering holes and removing water, photographing the damage before cleanup, and keeping your receipts. Don’t make permanent repairs until the adjuster has inspected the property.
What if my repair estimate doesn’t match the insurance company’s?
