Why Clean Joe
Two Generations, One Family Business
Clean Joe started in 1983 as Josef’s Cleaning, founded by Josef Sr. When the next generation joined, the business became Josef and Sons, and in 2009 the family renamed it Clean Joe to reflect the restoration work the company had grown into.
Today the second generation runs the company, and the family still makes the decisions on your project instead of a corporate call center. Our technicians live in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire towns they serve, so the crew at your door is local.
Our goal has stayed the same since day one: be there when people need us most. That means answering the phone at any hour, getting a crew to you fast, and staying with your insurance claim from the first estimate until it closes.
What We Do
One Company From the First Cleanup to the Final Repair
Every Clean Joe office handles both the emergency cleanup and the repairs that follow, for homes and commercial properties throughout New England.
Water Damage Restoration
Our crews extract standing water, set up air movers and dehumidifiers, and check moisture levels daily until the structure is dry, whether the source was a burst pipe, an appliance leak, or a flooded basement.
Learn more →Fire & Smoke Restoration
We secure the property with board-up, clean soot and smoke residue from the structure and your belongings, remove lingering odor, and rebuild what kitchen, electrical, and house fires destroyed.
Learn more →Mold Remediation
We seal off the affected area, filter the air with HEPA equipment, remove the mold to IICRC standards, and track down the moisture source that let it grow.
Learn more →Reconstruction
Our reconstruction team replaces drywall, flooring, cabinets, and paint after the cleanup and returns your property to its condition before the damage.
