Why Choose Clean Joe

Two Generations, One Family Business

Clean Joe started in 1983 as Josef’s Cleaning, founded by Josef Sr. When the next generation joined, the business became Josef and Sons, and in 2009 the family renamed it Clean Joe to reflect the restoration work the company had grown into.

Today the second generation runs the company, and the family still makes the decisions on your project instead of a corporate call center. Our technicians live in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire towns they serve, so the crew at your door is local.

Our goal has stayed the same since day one: be there when people need us most. That means answering the phone at any hour, getting a crew to you fast, and staying with your insurance claim from the first estimate until it closes.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I used them twice for separate water incidents and both times they were quick, communicative, thorough, and professional. They made a stressful and terrible situation so much easier to deal with. No surprises and the PM I worked with, Bayli, was great - helpful, polite, honest and super responsive, which I appreciated.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a sewage backup in the basement the week we put my dad in hospice. With family coming in from out of town we had no time to waste getting the mess cleaned. Clean Joe was teriffic. They showed up so quick and the 2-man crew did an amazing job. So appreciative that our project manager, Danielle, recognized our unique situation and made short work of something that was the last thing we needed on such an emotional week. I’d highly recommend Clean Joe! They were amazing.

Donaldo and his team were a pleasure to work with. They all seemed to love the company they were a part of, and communicated so effectively. Equipment was brought in and moved out speedily but with extreme care for our home. It was amazing. They made this disaster almost seem like a joy! Sort of 😉.
