Full Job Description
Reports to the Sr. Project Manager/VP Production
Restoration project manager will oversee water, fire, mold remediation, etc. jobs from start to finish. This includes estimating with Xactimate software. The ideal candidate has experience in the restoration industry or a related field. The position requires strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills to build client trust and repeat business.
Primary responsibilities:
- Assess job loss and determine required remediation.
- Write estimate for determined work through Xactimate estimating software.
- Communicate and update clients, insurance adjusters, and 3rd parties.
- Provide restoration job scope direction to technicians.
- Ensure quality control and troubleshoot jobs.
- Assist with ongoing staff training.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- 4+ years of project management experience and experience in restoration or related industry.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with computer and other mobile devices.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and review job scopes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Estimating software experience.
- IICRC certifications a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced work environment.
Education/Training
- High school diploma/GED
- College degree or equivalent 4 years of experience preferred.
- IICRC certifications.
- Proficient with Xactimate insurance estimating software.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds, walking and standing for long periods of time, being able to spend prolonged periods of time in weathered/damaged properties, driving for hours at a time, sitting for hours at a time, ability to climb ladders and be exposed to heights, ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, basements, etc.)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a variety of conditions such as heat, cold, strong odors, and so forth.
